The HSV & the Volksparkstadion

The Hamburger SV, also known as "Bundesliga Dino", is the only football club in Germany that has been continuously playing in the first division since its foundation. Since the 1963/64 season, the Hamburger SV has been playing in the highest league. During this time, the club won the German Championship six times.

St. Pauli & Millerntor-Stadion

In addition to the Hamburger SV, there is also the soccer club FC St. Pauli in Hamburg. Since 1910, this club has been in existence, whose home stadium is the Millerntor Stadium on the Heiligengeistfeld.

The players of the team are also called "Kiezkicker". The reason for this is the close proximity of the football stadium to the Reeperbahn.The Hamburger SV is of course a traditional main rival of the Paulians, but due to the different league affiliation it comes nowadays rather rarely to a derby.
